Social Agency Distributes Aid for Flood-Affected Residents

The Jakarta Social Agency (Dinsos) has distributed social assistance in the form of 2,537 packaged rice meals to residents affected by floods in South Jakarta and West Jakarta areas.

Hope it can ease their burden

Protection and Social Guarantee Division Head, Ika Yuli Rahayu said that besides food, there were also in-kind and clothing needs, starting from rice, instant noodles, biscuits, cooking oil, soy sauce, blankets, towels, diapers, and collared shirts.

"We have also distributed cleaning equipment such as mops, floor wipers, floor cleaning fluid, dustpans, bathroom brushes, and scoops," she expressed, Friday (10/7).

She added that the Disaster Preparedness Social Officer (PSKB) together with Tagana also assisted flood-affected residents, especially students who were victims of a collapsed wall at MTsN 19 Pondok Labu, South Jakarta.
